Ansu Fati ruled out of trip to Vallecano

Ansu Fati will not be this afternoon against Rayo Vallecano in Vallecas. The young attacker finally stayed in Barcelona, after meeting Ronald Koeman early in the morning at the Ciutat Esportiva, and agreeing that the best solution was not to force and be very cautious to avoid greater evils.
It must be remembered that Fati had to be substituted in the Clásico after a mishap with Toni Kroos, which left him very sore in his right knee, the non-operated one. The face of the player sitting on the grass on the bench while doctor Yangüas attended to him already made it clear that the discomfort was not trivial. In fact, these days they have not disappeared, despite the physiotherapy treatment, so it has been decided not to force more and that the player stays in Barcelona making recovery, in view of the next matches.
This last minute loss leaves Koeman, again, in a certainly delicate situation in terms of available forwards, since he only has three in the squad: Memphis Depay, Philippe Coutinho and Sergio Agüero. With the added handicap that the latter two have yet to play a full game this season.
And it is that apart from Fati, he still has not been able to count on Ousmane Dembélé, who is in the final stretch of his injury and who could be discharged next Saturday to play his first minutes against Alavés at the Camp Nou, or since mid-September with Martin Braithwaite, who does not wait until January 2022 at least.
