According to what  SunSport reveal,ex-Chelsea boss Frank Lampard on the shortlist to take the St James’ Park reins, after the new owner of Premier League club Newcastle begins to take charge of the club,they want to drag the club out of relegation zone as soon as possible in order to get the reliance of club supporters.Now they consider that the ex-Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is the most suitable person to replace  Steve Bruce,with talks potentially starting as soon as this week.

Frank Lampard was fired by the Blues in Juanuary and is keen on a return to the dugout. He is the cuurent leader of the race to become the new manager of Newcastle United,while the former boss of Borussia Dortmund,Lucien Favre,who refused to take charge of Crystal Palace in the summer is also the  bookies’ favourite to get the job.
Club non-executive chairman and new powerbroker Yasir Al-Rumayyan, who is also governor of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, will have the final say on the new manager.But before the new boss of Newcastle decided, Yasir Al-Rumayyan will complete his first appearance in  St James’ Park on Sunday.
